Basemah’s artistic journey began in her early childhood, blossoming into a lifelong passion. She holds a diploma in oil painting from the Fine Arts School, where she mastered classical techniques that continue to inform her work.

Though she pursued a career in Civil Engineering, her love for painting remained a constant—a testament to her dedication to both creativity and precision.

Since settling in Niagara, Basemah has embraced the region’s vibrant landscapes and energy, allowing her artistry to flourish anew. She works primarily in oils and acrylics, capturing everything from luminous landscapes to expressive abstracts and local scenery. Her paintings are defined by a harmonious interplay of color, stroke, and tone, creating works that feel both spiritual and distinctly her own.
